When will viewings for next year’s tenants start?

  • October, with the busiest period being usually late October through November.

How will I be informed that someone is going to be viewing? We aim to disturb you for as short a timeframe as possible.

  • You will receive an email on a Friday notifying you if your home will be available for viewings the following week.
  • You will receive an email each time a viewing is booked (if your house in on the viewings list) but please note this can be at late notice.

When do you conduct viewings? We aim to disturb you as little as possible.

  • Between 10am and 8pm Monday to Friday, and 11 am to 4pm on a Saturday.

How do you conduct viewings? Your comfort, privacy and security are important to us.

  • Viewings will always be conducted by a representative of Bread & Butter with a branded lanyard.
  • They will ensure tenants remain accompanied at all times and will not let them open cupboards or drawers etc.
  • They will knock clearly before entering any room and wait to be let in unless the room is not occupied.
  • They will leave bedroom doors locked or unlocked as they find them and lock external doors.
  • If you have any concerns about how viewings are conducted, send a message through your portal.

What do we do if we want to renew for next year? We would love you to stay!

  • Your house is available on a first come first served basis so act quicky if you want to rebook make a reservation request.
  • Please note until you have signed a new tenancy agreement the house will be available for new tenants.

What can I do to ensure my house is let quickly so I’m not disturbed too often?

  • The quickest way to ensure we can let your house is to make sure it is clean and tidy; the blinds are up and everyone is out of bed so we can access every room.
  • We have asked our representative to check some things to ensure we can relet your home quickly as follows:
    • The house is clean.
    • The house is tidy.
    • There is no build up of domestic waste (inside or out) and the walkways are free from tenant possessions that may restrict access (e.g. bikes).
    • No one is smoking in the property.
    • The garden has been well maintained by our team.
    • The house has been well maintained by our team.
